Senior Tester / QA Engineer

About the role

ASICS Technologies is expanding the digital platform behind its B2B business: the systems that wholesale partners, retailers and internal commercial teams use every day to order, plan and manage assortments worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester / QA Engineer who takes ownership.

This is a fully remote role based in the Philippines. You will be part of a globally distributed team, working closely with colleagues in Australia, with additional stakeholders in Europe. The Philippine time zone gives you a strong daily overlap with the Australian team. Communication is a core part of this role and weighs as heavily as technical skill. Professional-level English, both written and spoken, is a hard requirement: you will run calls with international stakeholders, document decisions, write clear updates and align across time zones on a daily basis.

Focus: Manual testing of applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced tester (minimum 5 years of experience) to strengthen our team between 24-40 hours per week. In this role you take ownership of the quality of our Vue.js applications. The emphasis is on hands-on manual testing: you pick up tickets, validate flows end to end and make sure nothing reaches production that should not be there.

Alongside the day to day testing you help set up and maintain a solid test strategy and contribute to the continuous quality improvement of our products. You work in a scrum team together with developers and product owners, in an international environment where clear communication in English is essential.

What you will do

• Perform structured manual testing of tickets, user flows and releases
• Write and maintain clear test cases, checklists and regression suites
• Set up and safeguard a robust test strategy for our core application flows
• Analyse test results, log reproducible defects and report findings clearly
• Verify fixes, coordinate retests and support release readiness
• Work closely with developers and product owners within a scrum team
• Think along about usability, stability and continuous quality improvement of the product

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience as a tester in an Agile / Scrum environment
• Strong hands-on manual testing skills: test design, edge cases, regression, exploratory testing
• Experience testing modern web applications
• Comfortable with browser developer tools, API testing and reading logs to pinpoint issues
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar
• Professional-level English, written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A pragmatic and proactive attitude: you see what is needed and pick it up
• Available for 24-40 hours per week, spread across the week in agreement with the team
